Brooke’s ability to leverage different human resources functions, and her involvement in business operations, have given her a unique perspective into the workings of the organization; combined with the relationships that Brooke has built across the firm, she is able to contribute to positive department and organizational outcomes. Brooke has worked in the HR profession for over 7 years with experience in a variety of human resources functions including onboarding, payroll, recruiting, performance management, benefits, training and development, compliance, and employee engagement. Prior to working at Richey May, Brooke held positions that influenced and strengthened her passion for customer service and her desire for helping people. Brooke works closely with the HR department and leadership to influence experience at Richey May, driving the attraction and retention of employees. She supports the human resources department with day-to-day operations, special projects, and strategic planning and execution. Brooke is heavily involved in new hire onboarding, payroll processing, events, and employee administration.

Brooke was drawn to the human resources profession after watching her mother work in a similar role and observing her interactions with people. The career path resonates with Brooke’s desire to help employees and organizations alike. Being given the opportunity to identify areas of improvement and conceptualize solutions fuels her passion for the human resources field.

Brooke is a Colorado native and takes full advantage of what the beautiful state has to offer. Camping takes up a good portion of her summers, with the occasional hike or lake day; with her husky, JoJo, always along for the adventure. Brooke’s creative outlet is in the kitchen cooking up delicious dishes for family and friends; trying out a new recipe creates an excuse to get together. She is also an avid Broncos fan, spending many Sundays as a child watching the game with her Grandparents and cheering the team on.
